As racing moves forward in karting in the pacific northwest you will start to see changes on what is taking place and who is going to be invited, some drivers are just pushing things too much, nerfing other drivers too often, and just plainly not driving smart or safe, kart racing is very much a grass-roots style of racing, no big buck involved, just BIG fun. at most tracks we are going to start with a minimum donation of 25.00 to race for that day, I know that track owner and spending their money to give us a place to run and have fun, but there is no reason for people to take advantage of the situation and track owners. Also for scoring things are extremely difficult to track properly score and place people in the proper position, keep in mind that this is all people volunteering to do what they are doing, and now the racers have to provide the proper conditions for scoring to take place, number plates will be required on all 4 corners, numbers only will be view letters after the numbers will not be recognized, also starting right away carts will no longer be able to run the same numbers in one class, multiple karts running the same numbers is next to impossible to track properly, last week we had 3 number 59 in one class, we will also stip allowing people to share carts that will be racing in the same class, this was a true nightmare last week doing lineups for the days racing. some tracks are going to start to use an invite-only process.
