A huge thank you to the
Mount Shasta Elks Loge #2333 for being such a special part of this year’s Thunder on the Mountain! 🇺🇸

This year, the Elks selected and presented a special Veterans Award to one very deserving ride, chosen from the 25 veterans who were in attendance at the show. It was such a meaningful addition to our awards, and we are incredibly grateful to every veteran who joined us. Thank you all for your service! ❤️🤍💙

We were also lucky to have an amazing surprise guest, Rick Hood, who gave us a beautiful bagpipe rendition of America the Beautiful just before the awards. It was one of those moments that made this year’s event extra special.

And a huge thank you to pattyhoodphotography for capturing these wonderful moments for us! 📸

We’re so grateful for the people and organizations who help make Thunder on the Mountain about so much more than just the cars. 🇺🇸🏁

Tomorrow’s the day. ⚡️🚘🏔️

Set up is done, the tents are up, the lines are painted, the sun is out, and Shastice Park is officially starting to look like Thunder on the Mountain.

Little Jimmy’s is already on site with the BBQ fired up and cooking through the night, and our very dedicated crew has taken on the extremely difficult job of quality control at the beer truck. 😂🍺

There is a lot that goes into putting this event together, and seeing it all come to life tonight makes us even more excited for tomorrow.

Now we just need the cars, the music, and all of you.

A little extra planning can make Thunder on the Mountain even better. Here’s our 2026 Site + Sound Map so you can get a feel for where everything will be tomorrow at Shastice Park!

🚨 PRE-REGISTERED? CHECK YOUR EMAIL!
A full Thunder on the Mountain FAQ email just went out with check-in details, event schedule, parking information, awards, raffles, directions and everything else you’ll want to know before tomorrow.

This map will also help you find show vehicle parking, registration, kids activities, food, the beer tent, guest parking, truck & trailer parking, restrooms and our winners staging area.

We’ve also marked our sound zones. Want to be close to the music and action? Head toward the red. Prefer things a little quieter? Yellow and green will be your best bet.

⚡️ Thunder on the Mountain is TOMORROW! We can’t wait to see Shastice Park full of cars, families, music and our community.

We’re excited to share a special addition to Thunder on the Mountain!

Just before the awards, longtime local and retired CAL FIRE member Rick Hood will perform a bagpipe rendition of “America the Beautiful.”

A big please from our registration crew 🙏 If you’re bringing a vehicle Saturday, registering online ahead of time will make check in much quicker and smoother for everyone.

Day of registration will still be available.

Yes, it’s raining now. But based on the forecast from KDRV NewsWatch 12 out of Medford, the local weather report we trust most, Saturday is still looking like a great car show day at Shastice Park!

🌤️ Morning: Cool and crisp around 42°
☀️ Afternoon: Sunny and pleasant, warming up to around 68°

So let the rain do its thing now, freshen everything up and maybe even put a little fresh snow on the mountain. Then Saturday, grab a jacket for the morning and sunglasses for the afternoon because Thunder on the Mountain is looking GOOD! 😎🏔️
