"Hello, I wanted to share my excellent experience with East Cooper Auto Pros this past Monday. We came out to visit our son in Charleston and he has his F150 out here for work. I normally handle all vehicle maintenance myself, but we are not home where it can be done in my shop. I looked online and found Auto Pros nearby and gave them a call to see if they could get his truck in for a oil change/Filter as well as rotate the tires. They got me in and out within one hour. Very friendly staff at the front desk and the mechanics seem knowledgeable. No upselling like every oil change service out there will try and do. They did notice and told me the front brake pads were getting very low and will need to be replaced soon. That was true and they did not push any fear tactics which for me was refreshing to see. For future vehicle work for my son's truck I will be definately sending him back to this shop. For anyone using speedy oil change places like jiffy L***s they installed the incorrect oil filter 2 days ago before I came into town. I saw it fit the filter housing but this 4.6l engine requires a very large oil filter with a 16 psi relief valve inside the filter. The one jiffy l**e put on was rated at 8 psi. Cold starts with a high oil pressure this cheap filter will go into bypass mode and not filter until the oil pressure inside the filter is below 8 psi. My son learned a hard lesson going to those speedy type oil service shops. I was lucky I asked him did he changed the oil at my oil service card on the windshield. East Cooper uses quality parts from NAPA and i asked them what oil filter they were going to install and they asked what engine it had and told me the correct oil filter they were going to use and had it in stock. Very refreshing to hear. They earned my trust and im in the Automotive business myself. Good shops need to be recognized online these days and i wanted to share my experience. A+++"
