Today we set some time aside to recognize our team and everyone who has been with us for 5 years or longer. The list is extensive, which is a testament to our team and their loyalty to our clients.

Topping the charts of tenure with 34 years is our Comptroller, Tammy Taylor! Also at 30 years of service are James Jeter (Ford Senior Master Tech) and Mike Ellis (Parts Manager at the Dodge store).

The list of the folks with 20-29 years with us is impressive as well. Jimmy Clark, Victor Hernandez, Robby Dunn, Moises Gonzales, Richard Lowrey, Pam Oneal, Joey Chapa, and Jesus Martinez.

We have another 30 team members who have been with us 5-19 years!

We truly appreciate their commitment to our company and our clients!

(Unfortunately, we didn't get pics of everyone who was honored, but here are a lot of them.)

Hey folks, we want to take a moment to introduce you to our new Commercial Sales Manager, Joey Smith!

I can hear you already: "But we already know Joey". Quite honestly, we'd be surprised if you didn't, as he has been in the car business in our area for nearly 25 years. While Joey's primary role will be helping our commercial and fleet customers get the vehicles they need and keep them in top condition, he is more than happy to help you find your next ride too.

Joey and his bride, Mackenzie, are fixtures in the Northeast Texas community. They spend the majority of their "free time" following their daughter Ryleigh Denmon around as she plays high school volleyball, softball, and shows off her award-winning Beefmaster heifers. In addition to Ryleigh, they also have a couple of adult kids, Allie Smith and Dillon Denmon, whom they are very proud of. And, of course, they are also very proud of the newest addition to their family, their grandson Koulter.

So please join us in welcoming him back onto the EAG team! Welcome home, Joey!

All of us at EAG Ford Mt Pleasant were excited and honored to present the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week to Paul Pewitt's own Wooda Betts!

Senior Wooda Betts was everywhere for Omaha Pewitt, turning in the kind of two-way performance that rarely shows up in one stat sheet. The running back/linebacker powered the Brahmas' 32-12 victory with 202 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries, added five catches for 85 yards and another score, then took a kickoff 76 yards to the house. And that was only half his night. Defensively, Betts piled up 12 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery, impacting the game at nearly every turn. With 287 yards from scrimmage, five total touchdowns, and a dominant night on defense, the senior did a little bit of everything to lead Pewitt to the win.

His coach, Jeremy Russell, said of Betts, "That's just who he is. Wooda puts up consistent numbers. This game was a little bigger than normal. When we run a two-back system, he is one of the backs. When we go one-back, he's a receiver. Our other back took a helmet to the knee, and we kept him out, so Wooda stepped in and got a larger workload. We just rode his shoulders. He scored all five of our touchdowns and had a great night on defense."

Congratulations, Wooda and the entire Brahamas team, on a great victory and a well-deserved award! GO BRAHMAS!
