On October 18, Mt. Airy walked together again.

Century Ford has stood behind Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for years, and every year this community shows up. Survivors. Families. Friends walking for someone they miss. Neighbors who just want to help.

This year hit closer to home. Speaking to the crowd, our managing partner Joe shared that he was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It didn’t change why we’re there. It reminded us.

This video looks back at the walks that came before and the people who keep coming back. Life looks different on the other side of a diagnosis, and nobody should have to walk that road alone.

Thank you to every walker, volunteer, and survivor who made this year happen. We’re proud to call Mt. Airy home, and we’ll keep showing up.
