We were excited to welcome students from Surry Community College for a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on at a local automotive dealership!

The students toured both the front and back of the dealership, visited our service shop, saw the sales floor, and learned about the many roles and career opportunities in the automotive industry.

We’re proud to support our local students and enjoy being able to give them a firsthand look at the automotive business right here in our community. Thank you to Surry Community College for spending the day with us! We hope you enjoyed the tour!

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Chris Amburn (ChrisandSuzie Amburn)!

Chris has worked in the automotive business for nearly 30 years and has been a familiar face at our Chevrolet building since 2008. When Scenic Automotive acquired the company in 2018, Chris stayed on and continued being an important part of the team!

Known for being a hard worker and an all-around great guy, Chris is someone we’re proud to have as part of the Scenic Automotive family!

When it comes to his favorite ride, Chris is a fan of the GMC Sierra Denali. And when it’s time to grab a great meal in Mount Airy, his go-to spot is 13 Bones!
