Leading Edge Automotive in Morton Grove, IL is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician. Service techs perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with shop standards, test drive vehicles, test components, and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.

We are a local family-owned independent automotive repair shop with a loyal customer base. This is a Monday through Friday position with no nights or weekends required.

Applicants need:

- Valid Driver’s license

- Tools and diagnostic equipment

We will be staying open so don't hesitate (if you are not sick) to contact us for service. To improve yours, the community, and our safety, we are not allowing unnecessary traffic and direct interaction in our building.
Drop keys in the door slot in the back door or mail slot in front, call 847-965-4788, and let us know you are here and your concerns. Payments and pick up will be arranged over the phone before you arrive as well.
You may come in if you need to wait for rides or to show us a problem etc. but when in the facility, we’d appreciate if you kept a distance (preferably at least 6 ft) between us or anyone who may be in the building.

Just an update on the state of Leading Edge. We are still staying open for service. We are taking all necessary precautions to provide the cleanest and safest area possible. If you have the means, please wipe down steering wheels, shifters, and wash hands before dropping off/picking up your vehicles (here or any shop). We will be doing the same. If you feel more comfortable leaving the keys in the drop box in the alley and making payment over the phone or by check, we will be glad to accommodate you. Stay chill and clean everybody.
