Chris Rachford is racing this weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in the Stock Eliminator Class. His ‘69 Ford Cobra is not something you see every day. This car has been in the family since 1971 and holds plenty of sentimental value. The car is powered by 428 cubic inch Ford engine back by a 4 speed transmission. Strange Evolution brakes are on all 4 corners. Strange axles, center section, and quick release steering hub were also used for this fantastic build.

Marty Rinehart from Rinehart’s Performance in Thomasville, PA is piloting Jason Dietsch’s ‘14 cobra jet this weekend in Factory Super Stock C this weekend at NHRA US Nationals.
The matte black factory race car from Edgerton, OH is backed by Jason Dietsch trailer sales is powered by a supercharged 5.0 Coyote motor.
The car is equipped with Strange supplied parts that were spec’d and selected by the Cobra Jet team at Ford Performance. These parts include struts, shocks, master cylinder, brakes, 9” housing, axles, and center section.

Chris Wheatcraft from Jamestown, OH is racing his ‘71 Dodge Demon in top sportsman this week at the NHRA U.S. Nationals.
The chassis was originally constructed by Advanced chassis and is powered by a Procharged 540” Hemi with Indy cylinder heads.

The Demon, appropriately named Caged Insanity, is fully painted by Ron Leach autobody.

Chris has plenty of support from his friends and sponsors including McIlvane race cars, Wheatcraft concrete, Neal Chance Converters, and Turner Transmission.

The chassis is packed with Strange Engineering components including Strange Ultra Struts, front and rear brakes, axles, ultra case center section, and quick release steering hub.

The Team Lupe Tortilla sponsored Firebird of Jarrod Granier made the trip up from Labadieville, LA to compete in B Stock Automatic at the NHRA US Nationals.
The 2000 Pontiac Firebird is part of the 5 car team that has been making the trip to Indianapolis for almost 20 years.
The white Pontiac relies on a Strange Engineering 12 bolt rear fill with axles, spool, and pro race brakes on the front and rear.

ORLANDO, FL – August 23rd, 2026
"The Grandfather of All Events," is raising the stakes for the 33rd Annual World Street Nationals, set to take place November 12–15, 2026. Highlighting this year’s legendary event is the feature-packed Strange Engineering Mountain Motor Pro Stock class, where top drivers will go head-to-head for a $20,000 top prize and the ultimate badge of honor in drag racing: an official NHRA Wally trophy.

Known for massive, high-horsepower naturally aspirated engines and high-octane excitement, the Mountain Motor Pro Stock class promises to deliver heart-pounding 200+ MPH action down the Orlando quarter-mile. Drag racing fans from across the nation will gather to see the biggest motors in door-car racing battle for glory and cash on one of the sport's most famous tracks.

"The World Street Nationals has always been the premier stage for heads-up door-car racing, and adding $20,000 to win alongside an official NHRA Wally for Mountain Motor Pro Stock brings this event to a whole new level," said track management.
