Position Qualifications

 5+ years of experience working in the industry as an automotive technician
 Hold a valid driver’s license
 Experience problem solving and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics
 Own appropriate professional grade tools and diagnostic equipment  ASE certification is preferred or requisite experience
 Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as: scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, A/C recovery equipment, fluid exchange equipment, lift operation, etc.

Position Responsibilities

 Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
 Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection, and the needed repairs to service advisors and customers as required
 Continuously seek out and learn new technical information, equipment, tools and techniques
 Professionally record findings so that necessary customer estimates and proper repairs can be made.
