If your NC State Inspection is due in September, don’t wait until it’s too late!

📅 Wednesday, September 30th is the LAST DAY of the month to get it taken care of.

🔧 A MISFIRE TURNED INTO A WHOLE LOT MORE… 😳

This ’01 Dodge Caravan came to us with a misfire after a DIY spark plug replacement didn’t quite go as planned.

While attempting the repair, the top half of the spark plug snapped off, leaving the bottom half stuck inside the cylinder head. 😬

Our technician removed the Bank 1 cylinder head, drilled and extracted the broken spark plug, then cleared and re-tapped the spark plug hole.

But we weren’t done yet. 🔍

After noticing signs of damage to Cylinder 1, we inspected the valves and found both the intake and exhaust valves were damaged. Both were replaced to prevent compression issues.

Once everything was repaired, we verified proper valve seating, put it all back together and…

✅ No more misfire.
✅ Running like it should.
✅ Back on the road.

Sometimes a “simple” repair turns into something much bigger. That’s where we come in. 😎🔧
