The last two days reminded me how fun it is to follow these sleds as they change. Whether it’s by year, rider, brand bodywork or engine. Some of these sleds got around… 🤣

This is a favorite example of mine.

Jody Bredings (other) Williamson Savant chassis.

From the original red Savant bodywork. (1998-1999) To Skidoo ZX. (2000) It then went to Yamaha bodywork raced by Justin Moeller. (2001) C.J. Pittington was the last racer I’ve seen to this point with it sporting blue Polaris Edge plastics. (2003)

This would be a great sled to find with all of it’s racing history!

Yesterday’s Mystery: Solved. Turns out that sled was purchased from Cal by Norm Hebert and transformed into this hotrod.

Michael at Subzero stitch never ceases to impress me. The seat on this 99 was one of the most defining features that Dennis recalled when talking with him about this sled initially. Michael took the new modified pan I made along with the original foam and put together this absolute work of art. 🤯

Well with the bellypan project underway, I figured I’d take this somewhat rare opportunity to peel back another layer on this project and give you all a look at just how cool these sleds are. I do think the factory-like hood and bellypan on these sleds especially. Cause many people to overlook them as modified Polaris based chassis.
