Over the last few days we attended Goodguys Rod & Custom in Pleasanton. The weather was perfect, the Autox was happening and smiles were made. I was able to pull off a win in the No Limit Engineering truck class and first in the shootout. Dean Richards has really stepped it up making his little s10 quick around the course. I decided to bring the Z out of hiding after two years on 3 year old tires, two blown shocks and an electrical gremlin that I have now diagnosed. Took TTD of the event and won the class but missed the shootout win by a tenth. Gave about twenty rides this weekend to several clients, friends and my son. I want to give a shout out to my buddy Noendcustoms Carlos for coming out to his first Goodguys AutoCross Series experience and he had a blast. Congrats on a great finish as well sir. I was happy to also debut the Firebird project that we have been working on with a ton of help from everyone but especially Matthew Mielczarek for putting countless hours to make it just right. I enjoy these types of events because of the memories made with friends, making new friends, giving rides to helpers and cone shaggers and just enjoy cars.
