Congratulations to Terry Halverson for earning the Port City Racecars "Hard Charger Award" for the "Neal Newberry 150" at the Wenatchee Valley Super-Oval Saturday night. Halverson started 14th and finished eighth to improve six positions and earn a $150 contingency award from Port City Racecars. It was Halverson's first Northwest Super Late Model Series presented by Knottical Marine start of 2026.

Everyone, meet Chase!

He has gone through quite the journey in his time since getting to Lake Norman Humane - LKNH. He was the perfect patient through TWO TPLO surgeries, happily spending time with the staff during his rehab, and always accommodating love and exercises, despite not feeling the best all the time. Chase is a gentle boy, his heart is comparable to his large head, and he is looking for his forever home now that he is mended and ready to be adopted.

Chase plays well with others, LOVES people, enjoys cuddles and head scratches, and is content to curl up with a toy or stuffy in a cozy space. He is 4 years old and hoping to catch someone's eye to find his forever! Please email [email protected] or visit them during their open hours for more info.
