We currently offer a Toyota-based engine conversion product line, specialty wiring harnesses, drivetrain products, interior cages, and select suspension products. ORS also performs custom work, ranging fr
om fabrication to engine conversions. Additionally, we offer in-depth technical aid relating to many types of ‘custom’ Toyota-based projects. We are located near Montrose, CO and ship our parts world-wide. Off Road Solutions has been the industry innovator for a variety of modern and classic Toyota engine conversions, such as the Toyota 3.4L (5VZ-FE). We were also the leading innovators in the Toyota live-axle “coil-over” market; being the first to offer a live-axle coil-over system for Toyota 4×4’s. In 2001, Off Road Solutions was born out of the sheer entrepreneurial energy of Chris Rayburn in Golden, CO. Later that year, the company was purchased by me, shop foreman Mike Caskey. ORS continued operation in the West Metro Denver area from 2001 through 2008. In that time, we had the great privilege of working with some exceptional employees and outstanding customers. At the end of 2008, we made a very difficult choice to shut down our facility. My wife and I felt certain that it was time for a change. While we had never fully left the market, we began to slowly grow a new version of Off Road Solutions from a barn in Western Kansas. We officially resumed operation in 2010. Since that time we have again evolved into a full-time business and moved to Western Colorado; while expanding on many of our previous products and services. Throughout this process we have focused on serving our customers and the industry in new and innovative ways…
When we shut down our facility and I took a “day job”, I really missed Off Road Solutions as a career. Although I didn’t see it at the time, shutting down the facility and full-time business for a few years was truly a gift from above. What I missed most was not the hobby, the trucks or the fun. It was the relationships. I realized that like life, the most important thing about our company was our relationships; with customers, colleagues and our employees alike. The perspective I gained during this time was priceless and I’m grateful for it. While quality and ethics were always of utmost importance to ORS, now the relationships we cultivate are also part of our main focus. Off Road Solutions would not exist if it weren’t for the help of amazing employees (past and present), supporting families, our customers, colleagues, and most of all – the grace of God.
