Dinner is at 6 PM, then the meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
Our Club was looking for a cause that we could support and after touring the Automotive Department at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, we knew that we had found it! What better way to perpetuate our love for automobiles than to help the younger generation of car lovers fulfill their dream of attaining a college education in the field they love. In 2014 we partnered with The Pennsylvania College of Technology and created a scholarship program for 1st year students in the automotive curriculum. As of the 2019-2020 school year, we have awarded $30,000 in scholarships. In 2018, we created an endowment fund at the college so that we can help students long after we are gone.
Each year, on the third Saturday in September, our Club holds our annual Corvettes on Main Street Car Show in beautiful Muncy, PA. This is a great event for the entire family. We have food and craft vendors, a Kids’ Zone, a Silent Auction, and we line Main Street with over 150 Corvettes. All net proceeds from our show go to benefit our scholarship program with the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
If you would like more information on our scholarship program or if you are interested in becoming a member of our Club, please visit our website at www.susquehannavalleycorvetteclub.org.
