It’s been a week of rotten ethanol gas that has destroyed any metal part in the tank. Had a Honda 420 that has rotten fuel that ate at the coating of the metal for the fuel level gauge. Then ram into an extreme case of a fuel pump on a Polaris ranger. The coating of the metal can get eaten away over time with old fuel especially ethanol fuel and the metal starts to rust. Once this happens it quickly gets out of control and makes more and more rust that builds up and flakes off and clogs filters and ruins pumps. They key to avoid this is non-ethanol fuel and keeping the fuel tank full especially if the machine is going to sit for any period of time. Quality fuel additives help too! Still super busy at the shop call ahead to get on the list!

Power is out in Monticello and almost all of Jefferson county. We will be closed through Labor Day and will re-open on Tuesday September 5th. We made it through the storm just fine and are ready to get back to helping customers next week.

BUSY BUSY at the shop this summer, bad gas and fuel pump replacements, fender flare install on a super clean can-am defender, SATV electric flip out windshield install on new cfmoto (such a sweet winshield), carb cleans on dirt bikes and wiring repairs on four wheelers is just a few of the things getting taken care of. We are still running WAY behind on work but have been taking care of business and making customers happy. Call to get your name lined up on the list and call before you haul!
