The industry needs young people willing to work with their hands in order to make a good living. My mechanic friends say the same thing. We need to encourage our youth to learn a trade. A four year college and the debt that goes with it isn't always the best way to go for many of our high school grads.

The next time you need to get some work done on the family minivan, you may notice there's more of a wait to get it into the shop. That's because we're seeing a growing shortage of technicians entering the field.
