GMC came in for some repairs after tearing off a link mount, which snowballed a bit into a full rework of the 4 link. (Bare with me I didn’t take many pics 😅)
Frame was repaired, driver side shocks were damaged during the incident with shocks were repaired, and shops were replaced, and all four shocks were serviced . Frame plated with 1/8 4130 overlays, then new link mount installed with our TIG welded 4130 trailing arms and 7075 billet upper links.
The new 4 link set up led to new 4130 TIG welded shock mounts and clocking of bypass for better clearances.
Axle was on the narrow side for the full size application. Customer opted to upgrade to our standard spec 4” full float setup from which we had readily in stock.
2” x .120 DOM chassis lacing was added from from crossmembers all the way to the rear upper 4 link transferring loading evenly throughout the chassis and suspension points, as standard on most our builds.
New center bearing mount Incorporated into chassis leasing to complement the new two-piece drive line.
The frontend got a full prep and service.
Make some custom 17-4 stainless billet clevis’ since the original 3/16 plate units were bending pretty bad.
Did added a battery shutoff and cleaned up some plumbing. Some other odds and ends. Then just when we thought we were done..
We convinced ourselves we fried the ECM somehow someway, despite the battery being disconnected for pretty much the duration of its stay.
After a few days in a bunch of hours, scratching our heads. One rushed new ECM later.
Found out it was the viper alarm system killing the whole truck. Ended up getting the truck started. It was all happy. Did it again. Fixed itself when the customer came to pick it up..
Anyways, this was another fun one! We’ll be doing a bunch more on this one!
I’ll try to keep making a post about every truck that leaves here. I know I suck at it. (I feel like I always say that) 🤣
Thanks for all supporting us. We appreciate you guys!

You know what’s really annoying, when you F’ up mounting brakes. There was definitely a truck in my early days that I fu**ed up. Used some off the shelf s**t working with a budget. Ended up having issues. Maybe it was my fault for quoting it to do it within that budget and that manner but it wasn’t right. It was some 1/4” 4130 bracket you buy at kartek. I’ve definitely learned my lesson. Nowadays, we are fortunate enough to have the clients to have budgets to be able to do things to absolute perfect perfection. Or at least to the best of my ability🤷🏻‍♂️.
This is an example, Keiths pre-Runner worked great when I drove it, but due to some old motocross injuries and other reasons, he wanted the truck to be much easier for him to stop, and if you know, manual brakes and big heavy vehicles with big tires, it’s not like you have everything going for you. The decision was made to work with on some new stuff they’re coming out with.
We are very fortunate to work with Quinton over there and have him and his team take care of us and set us up with some bad ass stopping hardware.
It led to a complete redesign of his brake master cylinder assembly and pedal, as well as doing brackets in a certain manner that Alcon requested, which were big thick boys. Obviously fixtures are in order as we do with all our set ups nowadays, so these are what I came up with for the Alcon stuff and the finished product!
What do you guys think?! #4130

Well, we’re finally getting fully settled into the new facility. Man, do we have a lot of work to catch up on😅
Nothing specific I have to show off for a post, but just enjoy some miscellaneous photos taken throughout the month of December! We’ll get to posting more specifically on individual builds coming soon!

I want to thank every single one of you that has been patient with us throughout this process. The acquisition of this property through our holding LLC was a huge learning process for us and we had no idea how long Commercial escrow really took… This has been an absolutely insane, stressful and time consuming transition. We are extremely grateful for all of you who support us. 2026 is going to be a good one!
