Day 1 of autocross shakedown didn't go as planned. We got 1 run in and the throttle stopped working. We will swap the pedal, TAC and throttle body tomorrow (one at a time) until we find the culprit. The truck drove well for the first/only run though. You can see a little tire smoke, and that's from a suspected bad EBCM .

Hopefully tomorrow gets us 8 good runs and a truck driving up on the trailer to head home.

No pictures or videos tonight, just a little hope in the air.

The C5/10 has ABS. It still doesn't like the weight bias of a truck with no bed, but it's trying to work. I think we're going to give it a go this weekend and hope for the best!

C10 Revival on Friday
NCAC on Saturday and Sunday.

The goal is for the truck to drive back on the trailer under its own power Sunday afternoon.

The C5/10 runs, drives and stops! The ABS is still giving us a fit, so hopefully we can figure that out tomorrow night and still make the autocross shakedown this weekend.

Progress has been made in some areas. Looks are a bit deceiving here, but the body has started going back on. Passenger fender and inner fender are in for good. Driver's fender is on, just need to do the inner fender. Front chassis harness is in its final home, rad is in and plumbed.

Brakes are still being a thorn in our side. The brand new master cylinder won't keep a bleed, so we're getting a known good used OEM one. The ABS module still has 1 plugged hole and will likely need replacing also 😞

By the end of this week, we hope to have the brakes sorted (even if that means borrowing known good parts from a previous build) and the rest of the body assembled and the shocks reassembled.

The C5/10 cage is painted, the gauges are in (not pictured), the pedals are in, the clutch is bled, steering column is in, lower switch panel is in, the seats and harnesses are in too! Still working on bleeding the brakes (C5 ABS/BPMV isn't cooperating currently). Next up is the shifter, brakes and front sheet metal.

Wheels and tires are mounted. Dash panel is mounted. Pedals are mounted. Brake master/booster is mounted. Clutch master is mounted. Brakes are plumbed. Clutch is plumbed. Steam ports are plumbed. Brakes are bed and mounted.

Next up: finishing dash spacers and prepping to finish painting the cage.
