As many of you may already know, my son and I along with a few others made our way to WNC this weekend to assist with bringing necessary supplies to the people along with helping in the cleanup process. The pictures do not do it justice for the devastation and the heartbreak that the people and towns are going through. We spoke with someone in the town of Old Fort about what supplies were needed. Along with the normal food and drinks, they were saying that they were in need of camping supplies as many of the people have lost there homes and need the materials to make food and places to sleep. We will be making another trip this coming weekend back up there to assist in the cleanup process and are asking for help with donations to bring the nice people. Donations can include sleeping bags, tents, single burner propane stoves, the 16oz propane tanks, blankets, and any nonperishable food items or drinks that you may feel led to give. We took our last donations straight to the town itself at a small tire shop where the people were in desperate need. We will be doing the same with this next trip as well.
