When a vehicle has multiple issues happening at once, it can be tough to pinpoint what’s actually causing them.

After some troubleshooting, Brad found the root of the problem: the engine wiring harness had multiple bad connections.

We replaced it, and all those ongoing issues are resolved!

Nothing better than finding the actual problem and getting everything back to running right!

We know…we’ve been a little quiet on social media this summer 😅 That’s usually a good sign that we’ve been busy doing what we love — keeping customers on the road!

This one is a perfect reminder that not every scary symptom leads to a worst case scenario. This customer came in concerned about misfires and the possibility of engine failure. After taking a look, we found the culprit…a simple tune up!

A little maintenance made all the difference, and now this vehicle is running great again.

🇺🇸 Holiday Hours 🇺🇸

Morrison Mechanics will be closing at noon on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families.

In honor of Memorial Day, our shop will be closed on Monday as we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend and we’ll see you back in the shop on Tuesday!

We are saddened to share the passing of longtime member of our shop family, Marty. After decades of dedicated service, he retired a short time ago, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and unmatched mechanical knowledge.

There wasn’t a problem he couldn’t diagnose, an engine he couldn’t figure out, or a coworker he wouldn’t help. He was a mentor to so many over the years, sharing his knowledge, experience, and love for the trade with everyone who had the privilege to work beside him.

We are grateful for the years we had alongside him and for everything he taught us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Rest easy, Marty. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Brad’s in the middle of pulling the engine out of this 2019 Malibu…all from a timing set failure.

This is the part nobody plans for — whole motor instead of a normal repair. The truth is, this didn’t just happen overnight.

It builds up over time — wear, stretch, missed maintenance and then one day it lets go and takes everything with it. Now it’s an engine instead of a service bill.
