1930 VL cylinder repair NEXT. Came with a BIG hole! Owner did a helicoil but didn't hold, timesert tried, didn't work. So I got it and turned up a fat wall insert on the lathe, 5/8-24 outside, 7/16-20 inside to match head bolts. Turned it in, peened it and brazed from underside. Machined it FLAT, hope it HOLDS this time †
