At Keys driving school we teach not only the laws of the road, but how to be safe and respectful drivers. Our classroom portion is 30 hours, which includes the basics, live speakers, and kids can take their permit test with us. During behind the wheel we make trips to Eau Claire, Durand and other surrounding areas even the occasional drive thru (it is a life skill). We look forward to working with your student!

One of our favorite funnies for you this Tuesday. But in all seriousness, winter has arrived. More winter weather is expected, starting later today and into tomorrow.

Winter roads can be dangerous, and our Highway Department is working hard to keep them clear. Please allow extra time, slow down, have some patience, and drive with caution!

Please know we can see how many times your student has logged in to check for drive times! I am getting calls about no drive times available for MONTHS and I check to see how many times the student has logged in and it is like 2 in the last 6 months. We have had to cancel drive times due to only one student being registered. Remember to be checking constantly we add them all the time. Once the drive time is filled it disappears from the calendar it does not mean we are not driving it just means they are full.

We are looking for some additional help in driving with students! It is a great part time job (I promise not scary). We train you, you set your own schedule, and I think the pay is pretty good! You must be over 25 (insurance reasons), have a good driving record and be able to pass a state background check. If interested let us know!

60 DAYS is how long your student has from receiving their permit to when they have to be in the car with us!!! IT IS A STATE LAW. We are supposed to send permits back to the state when we do not see the kids within the first 60 days. Parents please read all the instructions on the website when signing your kids up for behind the wheel.
