United Towing Services is based in Modesto, California, is a growing business that has 3-5 openings for part time and full time Tow Truck Drivers. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a great group of people, in a friendly environment, within the fast paced industry of Towing.

Must be 21+ and have a clean DMV record and provide a 5 year DMV driving record, drug free, passing a background check, great personality and an eagerness to be great! Must have a commitment to getting the job done as our customers count on our Emergency Roadside Technician. Experience is a plus but not required, we will train the right person if you are willing to learn a new and exciting job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Respond to calls dispatched to you in a safe, timely manner. Provide roadside assistance in a safe, professional manner; free of accidents, injuries and damage.
Communications with dispatch shall be professional and informative as relates to information necessary to document your status in servicing a call as well as accurate ETA’s when requested.
Inspect truck and related equipment, tools, rigging inventory and complete and turn-in your pre-shift inspection prior to beginning duty each day.
Maintain truck fluid levels according to manufacturer standards and note quantities added on the pre-shift inspection sheet.
Maintain the storage yard in a clean and orderly manner. All trash and cigarette butts must be properly disposed of and not left in the truck or on the ground.
Invoices and paperwork must be prepared completely, correctly and on time for processing by the accounting staff.
Complete "Daily Driver Report" each shift. All related invoices and payments must be included too.
Skills

Driving and operating a service vehicle (i.e. flat tire changes, lock-out, fuel delivery services, etc.)
Must be able to safely load and transport vehicles.
Operating Flatbed and wheel lift tow trucks. Medium and Heavy duty not required but is a PLUS!!
Must have strong attention to detail (All work is done on Apps and tablets. Reading instructions and call details is very important.)
No experience is necessary, We will train the right person!!!
