🔧 Sometimes the hardest part of a transmission rebuild is getting it apart!

This Toyota transmission gave our builder a little extra work today. A stubborn bolt had to be drilled out before we could move forward.

It’s a problem our technicians are familiar with. It takes patience, precision, and experience to get the job done right.

Built Right. Drive Confident.

Some things in the shop are sacred. 🔧🤣

And the 10mm socket is at the TOP of that list!

Borrow a tech’s tools without asking, and you might just catch some paws. 🐾😂

Tag that coworker who borrows tools and never brings them back! 👀

The transmission filter plays an important role in protecting your transmission. 🔧

It helps trap debris and contaminants in the transmission fluid, keeping them from circulating through critical internal components.

Small part. Big responsibility.

During the process, our builder discovered a snap ring installed in the wrong location — a mistake that could potentially lead to serious internal damage, including a cracked transmission case.

Three shops. A whole lot of transmissions. And one heck of a journey. ❤️

A look back at a few of the places AA Transmission has called home over the years. A LOT has changed along the way.

We’re pretty proud of how far we’ve come.

But before you scroll away… zoom in on that last picture. 👀⛽️

$1.87 A GALLON.

Now that might be the biggest throwback of all. 😂
