Been getting a ton of electrical issue calls lately. One of today’s electrical issues was no shore power in the RV. This transfer switch definitely took a hit. A new transfer switch later and this RV was good to go.

Another AC call. This customer’s complaint was the AC does not cool at all. The isssue found this time is the compressor is not pulling enough AMPs to cool due to a low charge. As seen the recommended AMPs the compressor should be pulling is 10. This one is only pulling 4.8. Well unfortunately this AC is done for and on its way to the big cloud in the sky. Since RV AC’s are a sealed system, the only proper fix in this situation is a new AC unit.

This time the customer had two complaints that were definitely related to each other. First one was that there is a large water leak and the second one was the water pump did not work. Well, it’s hard for a water pump to work when there’s not even one there to do the pumping. The previous repair company neglected to even intall a new one during their attempt of a repair. Anyways, the water leak was because the lines were wide open and when hooked to city water it just went everywhere. Installed a new pump and magically the leak stopped and the RV was able to pump from the fresh water tank again. Another happy customer.

Customers complaint this time was the AC doesn’t work and it just makes a buzzing noise. The issue found was the fan capacitor told the world to stick it and decided today that it was no longer going to work. The fix was easy. Fired the old capacitor and hired a new one to put in its place. This AC was back up and cooling again in no time. Another happy customer.

Customers complaint this time was the 12 volt system has died down and will not charge back up. Once again it was another simple fix. As seen, the red wire came out from its proper location. All it took was placing the wire back in its home, tighten it down and this 12 volt system was back up and charging again. Another happy customer.

This job was pretty straightforward. Customer complaint was the steps no longer moved but also just had the motor/gear box assembly replaced a few months ago. The previous repair company used a non factory copy aftermarket part that was ordered off Amazon. It obviously failed due to the part just not being up to par compared to the factory parts. Factory parts were overnighted and these steps are back up and working again. Another happy customer.
