Another solid month in the books.

Handled a wide range of work this month from on-site diagnostics and electrical repairs to keeping fleets up and running with routine maintenance. Every job is about the same goal: minimize downtime and keep your equipment working when you need it.

I’ve been continuing to build relationships with customers who value reliability, communication, and getting the job done right the first time.

As we move into a new month, I’m looking to take on a few more consistent fleet accounts that need dependable mobile service.

Big shout out to Adam Mueller over at USA Insulation of Minneapolis. He had me out today to take care of some DOT work on their fleet.

My name is Dave, and I am the owner and operator of Midnight Diesel Repair LLC. I bring over 13 years of professional experience in the diesel and equipment repair industry, with a broad and diverse background in diagnostics, maintenance, and heavy equipment service.
Midnight Diesel Repair was built to support businesses that may not have an in-house mechanic, have limited technical resources, or are growing faster than their fleet can keep up. When downtime costs you money, waiting weeks for dealer appointments or towing equipment across town just isn’t practical. That’s where I come in.
I provide mobile and in-shop repair services, coming directly to you to keep your equipment running and your operations moving. 🚛🔧 Throwback to the Humvees! 🔧🚛

We’ve been putting in some work on a couple of old Humvees recently—a M1152 and a classic M998. These rigs came in for a variety of projects, including:
✔️ CV axles & brakes, and custom bumpers
✔️ Diagnostics, PMs & inspections
✔️ Custom wiring (CB radios, train horns, harnesses)
✔️ Fixing the many age-related issues these trucks are known for

Having spent 8 years in the military working on these, it’s definitely nostalgic to get my hands back under the hood of machines I know inside and out. Always an honor to keep these beasts rolling strong 💪🇺🇸

April was a busy month. We formed new partnerships, got through lots of repairs, maintenance, and DOT inspections. I’m blessed to be staying busy and thankful for the customers that I have. Sunday service calls are always fun! We had a previous client call us about his stump grinder having low power issues and also missing some hydraulic functions! This is one of his Main pieces of equipment that he couldn’t afford to have down! We took care of Laney’s stump grinder promptly Through a thorough diagnostic process and fixed and replaced only what was needed to get him running back in tip top shape. We always appreciate repeat business! Thanks for having us back out!

Started the week off with chasing some chassis harness faults on a F750. Working on these can be a pain with lack of service Information. Along with most shops not wanting to touch them since they fall between light and heavy duty trucks. Having the knowledge to disect a wiring diagram and utilize a logical troubleshooting process is something we excel at! There is no electrical issue we cannot figure out! This customer is now ready to get back to work! This is one of the many services we offer. Please reach out with any of your needs!

This week was a busy one! As the good weather comes out equipment and trucks are going back into full swing! From one of my repeat customers to a couple new ones we were able to take care of multiple companies this week! Between DOTs, check engine lights, Electrical wiring diagnostics and repair and Emission system repairs we had a very productive week! Over here at Midnight we have the ability to diagnose all of the major truck and equipment manufacturers out there both highway and off highway from Cummins to CAT to Komatsu, John Deere and many many more. We can run factory bi directional testing, programming, Fault testing and clearing and after-treatment system Diag and Regeneration. After treatment systems are responsible for some of the most common faults found on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment and the growing complexity of the aftertreatment system has created more issus. The system contains multiple sensors, wire harness, DEF doser, fuel injector, DPF, DOC and SCR, and more. It operates like the human body itself. Anything can go wrong that results into endless faults and derates. Don’t let your machine stay down too long when you run into these issues, we can help get you running again as quickly as possible.
