Big moment for our 993: it’s first startup after a complete engine rebuild. The brief clatter of the lifters and chain tensioners filling with oil is a reminder of how far this engine was disassembled!

This preservation class project meant splitting the case, machining the block and heads back to factory spec, and reassembling everything with all original major components intact.

Hearing it fire up again is always worth every hour of work put in. 😎
