Over the last few months, we’ve had a lot of back-and-forth on the Orange Boss 302 with the hole in the hood.

I was at a swap meet last week in Atlanta and I bought an old scoop. I’m gonna put over it for now and I’ll paint it to match the center of the hood with similar patina.

I’ll keep looking for a hood without a hole in it !

When I put the original carb. on it, the shaker didn’t wanna fit underneath the hood. It was taller than what was on it.

We’ve now put the original distributor and original fuel pump on it the original carburetor in it and the original Aircleaner will be working on some more detailing soon. Then I’ll post a bunch of pictures of the engine compartment.

I know it’s not right, but I want to drive the car so this is the best I can do right now!

Here comes another project. We’re gonna start on pretty soon.

I’m gonna have to enlist some help on this one!

The question is gonna be do we do a bit of metal work and clean it up and leave it to be a Rough Semi-Survivor or do we restore it? It’s gonna be a tough one. I’m leaning towards a Survivor.

It’ll be a few weeks before we show anything really more about it but believe me we’re looking hard at it right now!

We have picked up a Red 70 R 428 Cobra Jet Code 4 Speed, Mach 1 with white stripes.

The white stripes are a bit rare.

The white shaker and hood treatment is pretty distinctive.

Will be starting the Metal Work on this one and Paint and Body pretty quickly!

For those of you following, the James Bond diamonds are forever Red Mach 1. Here’s a little progress report.

The driveline is in the car we will have it fired off and running in a few days then we’ll have to add the exhaust system that takes another few days then we’ll be test driving.

Here are a few pictures of the interior.

We are going to build it and show it short a few details short that we will have to circle back to later.

Overall, looking pretty good, we expect to be completed in three or four weeks!

A quick update on the bond diamonds are forever Red Mach 1.

We ran the Engine for a second time yesterday other than a fuel leak at the fuel pump. It ran flawlessly. It’ll be going in the car this week.

The interior is in the car all we’re doing now is a lot of wrap up stuff and installing the driveline. This is a pretty quick process.

Will be driving and testing the car before the end of the month!

We will post some pictures when it’s completed and a Drive video!

The plans now are to have the car in Chicago for the Muscle , Car Nationals.

We’re hoping to get a Saturday morning time for a reveal to show it to the public!
