🔥 PALO PINTO COUNTY FIRE DONATION DRIVE 🔥

Our community is coming together to support the brave first responders working hard to protect our neighbors during the fire in Palo Pinto County. ❤️

We are collecting donations to take directly to the first responders on the front lines.

If you are able to help, we are accepting:

🛞 YES — S&S AUTO & DIESEL DOES TIRES! 🛞

We don’t just work on cars and diesels, we sell and install tires too (every size!)! We can get almost any brand, and we work hard to have some of the best tire pricing around. From daily drivers to work trucks, A/Ts, M/Ts and more, give us a chance to price them before you buy somewhere else!

Not sure if you need tires? Here’s what to look for:

🔹 Tread Depth: 2/32" is the legal minimum, but once you’re around 4/32", especially in wet weather, it’s time to start thinking about replacement.

🔹 Bad Tires: Cracking/dry rot, bulges, cords showing, bald spots or uneven wear are all signs your tires need attention.

🔹 DOT Date: The last 4 numbers of the DOT code tell you when your tire was made. Example: 2424 = 24th week of 2024. Tires can age out even if they still have tread!

🔹 Rotate & Balance: We recommend rotating about every 5,000–7,500 miles to help them wear evenly. If you’re feeling shaking or vibration, it may be time for a balance.

And when it comes to balancing, we use a Hunter Road Force® balancer, not just a basic spin balance. It helps us find tire and wheel issues that can cause vibration and gives you a smoother ride.

This ice cream truck came down our road on 22nd Ave without its song on. That didn’t stop one of our techs seeing it and yelling out “ICE CREAM TRUCK” and everyone ran outside with cash in hand.
