House of Harley-Davidson to Merge Racine Location into Milwaukee Location
Highest quality customer service continues at new location for Racine customers
(MILWAUKEE, WI) The House of Harley-Davidson dealership is consolidating its operations with the merger of its Racine store into the Layton Avenue location, effective Sept. 14, 2019.
Customers of House of Harley-Davidson Racine, 1155 Oakes Road in Mount Pleasant, will continue to receive the highest quality customer service for which the House of Harley-Davidson brand is known, all under one roof at House of Harley- Davidson’s flagship location since 1972, at 6221 W. Layton Avenue in Milwaukee.
“We thank all our customers who have patronized the Racine store in the past and want them to know they will continue to receive the highest quality customer service during this transition without interruption, just a few miles down the road,” Jeff Binkert, president of House of Harley-Davidson, said. “We will combine our service areas, staff and resources to provide the best possible customer experience.”
House of Harley-Davidson will continue servicing the police fleets from the City of Racine and Mount Pleasant, in addition to the police fleets from the Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Wauwatosa Police, Franklin Police, Greendale Police, Walworth County Sheriffs, Wisconsin State Patrol, New Berlin Police, Jefferson County Sheriffs, Waukesha County Sheriffs, South Milwaukee Police and Brown Deer Police.
Gift cards, pre-paid maintenance, extended service plans and any other company-issued customer credit will be honored at the House of Harley-Davidson flagship location in perpetuity. Work on any motorcycles currently being serviced at the Racine location will be completed, and customers will be contacted to schedule pickup or delivery. Moving forward, all service work will be conducted at the Greenfield location. Customers in Racine county and surrounding areas are encouraged to take advantage of The House’s free motorcycle pick up and delivery, as well as complimentary service loaners.
Since Binkert and his team purchased House of Harley-Davidson in August 2015, the dealership has experienced significant growth and received extensive global recognition. In 2018, the dealership won Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s prestigious Gold Bar and Shield award, ranking No. 36 out of more than 600 dealers nationwide. The honor recognizes the highest-performing dealerships for consistently elevating the brand by providing riders with exceptional Harley-Davidson experiences. House of Harley-Davidson on Layton Avenue has been run by local riders since 1972 and has seen multiple facility improvements over the last four years. Coming in 2020, The House plans a 26,000-square- foot expansion at its flagship store to facilitate its continued growth.
House of Harley-Davidson has supported the Southeast Wisconsin community and beyond by hosting hundreds of charitable rides and events, including those that honor veterans, law enforcement and public safety, children’s charities, and animal welfare organizations.
