Hello All,
Today the Mid-West Volkswagen world lost an Icon, Randy Henning the founder of Mofoco and co-owner of Great Lakes Dragaway passed away. Randy helped pave the way and shape the mid-west VW scene for the past 50 years. When we started this podcast our intention was not to just talk about the current VW world but we wanted to be able to tell the stories of the people who helped keep air-cooled VW's alive throughout the years, Randy was one of them. We sat down with him last year and talked about his early years at Mofoco and Great Lakes Dragaway, he shared stories of his love for Volkswagens and how the culture has grown over the years. It was truly and honor to be able to share his story with all of you.

Winter is here in full force in the Mid-West, so it’s winter project time!!
Here’s Prescott’s 2332 motor out of the Baja, he decided to change the cam from a FK10 to a Web 86B cam and advanced the timing 2 degrees to bring the power band down lower in the rpm range.

Okay I know it's been a while, we have been busy working on own stuff getting ready for the season, but we came out of our caves to hangout at the event hosted by Fun With VDubsand Seward Speed Shopat Bryon Dragway. It was a great day for a meet up or to test and turn your car on the track, lots on old friends and lots of new faces.
