Your help is requested! We are in the process to get Milwaukee Mike inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame, in the Kickstands Down category. I have started the process however we NEED AS MANY people as possible to also nominate Mike. It will take you less than five minutes to do this. Here is the process:

In the nominees email and phone, enter your own.

The calm before the storm. Arrived in Davenport and my van is in line. Entry at 6am in the morning. I’ll catch a Uber back to hotel later and then Uber to/from dinner. 4:30am Uber ride to the fairgrounds to get in my van and wait for the green flag to enter the grounds. I’m at U16-17, smack dab in the middle of the field. Look for the bright blue canopy and yellow tableclothes. Hope to see you tomorrow.

The calm before the storm. Arrived in Davenport and my van is in line. Entry at 6am in the morning. Loading up for Davenport. Hope my van is big enough to fit all the stuff I’m bringing! Bringing Linkert parts, transmission parts, star arbors, complete transmissions, nice tires, and tons of really good stuff. OH, also a load of 1990’s collectibles. Start your Christmas shopping this week! Cold water in my booth with every purchase.

Another day with lots of stuff going on. This FXE with STD heads has four stripped out exhaust holes in the head. Oh joy. One step forward and two back with this entire project. We will get it in the end. Pulled apart this roller to sell piece by piece at Davenport. That front end is killer!!! That whole roller is available.

Then this happened today. I had the honor and privilege to become the next caretaker on this awesome 1984 FXSB-80. This bike was purchased new by the gentleman I’m with. Also included all the original OEM parts. It was an emotional day for both of us. It’s a runner and ready to go. However I will be giving this machine a complete service, new tires, and installing the OEM parts. There will come a time for all of us to pass our machines on to younger enthusiasts. Not an easy time. Thank you Carl for having faith in me.

Some very COOL stuff happening in the shop. S&S super E rebuild and install on the 72 FXE project. M25 Linkert all done. Cleaning up the tanks for the 72 FXE and making sure leak free. Love my life.
