Check out this P28 we just put together for a customer! 🔧

The existing socket was extracted and replaced to accommodate a fresh Hondata S300v3. The ECU then received our full refurbishment process, including new capacitors, corrosion and trace repairs, stripping and cleaning the board, fresh conformal coating, and replacement of the factory IC17 chip with our own.

Ready for many more years of service ❤️

We’re excited to officially welcome Shawn as OxyTuned’s first employee!

We’ve been training Shawn behind the scenes for the past few months, getting him familiar with our processes and making sure everything continues to be done to the same standards we’ve built OxyTuned around.

He has already been helping build and refurbish the complete OxyTuned ECUs we sell, and is now beginning to assist with customer ECUs as well. I’ll still be closely involved with every part of the process, but having another set of experienced hands will allow us to take on more work, improve turnaround times, and continue growing without sacrificing quality.

It’s pretty surreal to think that something I started on my own has reached the point where we’re bringing on our first employee, and this isn’t the only thing we’ve been working on behind the scenes lately 👀

Replacing the capacitors in your 92-95 OBD1 Honda ECU isn't enough.

If the original capacitors were leaking, the damage has already begun. Simply installing new capacitors doesn’t remove the corrosion or repair the damaged traces underneath.

This ECU had previously received new capacitors elsewhere, but the remaining corrosion continued to damage the board until the Hondata could no longer read battery voltage.

We removed the corrosion, repaired the damaged traces, and properly restored the board to ensure it reliably powers our customer's vehicle for years to come.

New capacitors don’t fix corrosion.

A little clarification regarding a post that was recently brought to our attention.

A competitor on a fake account shared screenshots of a customer complaining about an ECU they had purchased elsewhere, falsely claiming that the ECU came from OxyTuned and using it as an opportunity to criticize our work. This post was originally made days prior and we have since been in contact with the actual owner of this ECU who has already shipped it to us for repairs.

We were unable to see or respond to the original post because our accounts had already been blocked by the individual who made it. Thankfully, several of our customers recognized the situation and stepped in to correct the misinformation on our behalf. We genuinely appreciate everyone who spoke up and had our back, this means the world to us.

For anyone ever questioning whether an ECU was refurbished by us, our work is very easy to verify. Every ECU refurbished by us will receive our "OxyTuned Refurbished" identification sticker along with a unique warranty ID that can be searched on our website to verify the ECU and view its service history.

We've been considering offering a "Queue Skip" option that would move an ECU to the front of our repair queue for an immediate turnaround.

This is something customers have requested for years, but we've always declined because it didn't seem fair to those already waiting. At the same time, we understand that some customers rely on these vehicles as daily drivers, while others are working on race cars or projects.

We're curious to hear your thoughts. Would you support a queue skip option, or do you think repairs should remain first come, first serve?
