Southern Cycle Shop LLC in Shreveport Louisiana coming in strong hooking up with a lubricant sponsor for the 2026 Piston Cup Series at Desoto Motorsport Park in Grand Cane Louisiana. Now to get his race car wrapped up and it’s go time!

Took to Brazos River Off-Road Adventure Park today to run their short course to get some much needed seat time in his new RZR RS1. He had a blast and is super excited stepping up to the 1000 from his RZR 170.

Rd 3 and 4 of outlaw series was both good and not good for Collin.

Saturday rd 3 he qualified 2nd in his limited car and but ended 5th overall due to his voltage regulator failing and battery going dead during the race.

In his “open” car he qualified 1st and had a huge lead during the race but unfortunately his engine let go on the final lap taking him from first to last. Huge bummer but that’s racing!

Sunday rd 4 was a long day having 3 races. He had some great battles in the limited class with 12 other great racers. race 1 P3, race 2 P2 and race 3 P2 give him a 2nd place finish over all.

Round 1&2 of Outlaw Series at Eagles Canyon Raceway is wrapped up for Collin

Saturday Rd1
In heat 1 he pulled the Holeshot and led the race, about half way through the final lap his EFI relay failed shutting him down and took him from 1st to 10th. Huge bummer.

Heat 2 he started on the back row and worked his way up to 2nd place within the first lap. He battled for 1st for a few laps and unfortunately his clutch overheated and locked up and fell down to 8th. Another huge bummer.

Sunday Rd2
Heat 1 he started on the back row again and worked his way up to 4th and maintained that position until the last lap, the 2nd and 3rd place cars got tangled up 3 turns from the finish and Collin was able to capitalize on their mistake and finished in 2nd.

Heat 2 he pulled the Holeshot, led the race for 2 laps while 2nd place battled with him. He fell into 2nd place for a brief moment but was able to regain 1st place position and then checked out and led rest the race and brought home 1st place finish. Giving him a 1st place overall for RD2!

Super proud of him for pushing hard, driving smart, and most importantly not giving up!

Want to brag on this kid. Most of yall know that Collin is all about his racing, anything offroad, and helping build, maintain and improve his race cars. Collin is a very unique and awesome kid. He makes us very proud with his level of determination.

2024 season of the outlaw series is wrapped up

Long post here…..

This last double header round was a real struggle for Collin with mechanical breakdowns, but he stayed as positive as he could and still had some success!

Friday afternoon in practice he broke a gear in the transmission on his mod car, towed it back to the pits and rebuilt it.

Saturday morning during qualifying in his limited car, the input shaft support bearing on his transmission left the chat and shredded his belt. We towed it back to the pits and made and repaired just in time for racing. Thank you Dylan Bielli for giving me an extra hand.

Saturday night he got to race under the lights in 170 sportsman and took 1st place!

250 mod 3rd place overall
170 Limited 5th place overall
170 sportsman 1st place overall

Sunday morning we hoped and prayed the breakdowns were behind him….

Moto 1 of limited went great and finished 3rd he had a great race. With a quick break he went back out for moto 2. He ran great until the last lap his exhaust header broke off the cylinder head and burnt up the top end of his engine.

Moto 1 of 250 mod went good, he drove great and all went well. Moto 2 all was good until it wasn’t. Last lap the clutch overheated and seized up stopping him in his tracks buuuut he still was able to secure 2nd place!

170 limited 5th overall
250 mod 2nd overall

He had a killer season and had a blast at the same time! Now it’s time to rebuild and get ready for 2025 season.

Rd 6 of Outlaw Series at Eagles Canyon Raceway is in the books. Bunch of highs and lows this round but overall it was a good weekend.

Collin raced a total of 3 classes and come home with 2 podium finishes!

Friday evening he raced the 170 sportsman class and came out on top with a 1st place finish!

Saturday in the 170 limited he qualified in 3rd. In the main he had a battle on his his hands with some great racers and after swapping positions multiple times he ended up in 5th place. He was bummed but still did a good job. Collin recognized the areas where he was not on his game and is looking forward to rd 7 for a chance to get back on the box.

Saturday the 250 mod qualifier was a freshly watered track and was like ice for them. He spun out multiple times but was still finished in 3rd. For the main the track was great and he pushed as hard as he could and took 3rd again!

170 sportsman 1st place
170 limited 4-8 5th place
250 outlaw 3rd place
