💜 Millington, thank you for showing up and being part of the conversation.

Last night’s Breaking the Silence event was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to learn, listen, and support one another. Thank you to everyone who attended, shared space with us, and helped make this such a meaningful evening.

A special thank-you to our speaker, Barb Smith, for sharing her knowledge and helping guide this important conversation. We also want to recognize the incredible resource teams who joined us and shared their time and resources:

💜 Su***de Resource & Response Network
💜 New Light Child & Family Institute
💜 Mobile Response Team
💜 Tuscola County Prevention & Recovery Coalition
💜 Lions International

Your commitment to supporting our community matters, and we’re grateful you were part of this event.

📲 TAKE ACTION: Looking for local resources and support? Download the Tuscola Community Connections app for easy access to community resources. You can scan the QR code included in the photos by taking a screenshot and using your phone to open it.

📅 UPCOMING EVENT: Barb Smith will also be speaking at Hope Starts Here on Saturday, November 21, at 9:00 AM at the Bavarian Inn Lodge.

And this isn’t the end! Keep an eye on the Millington Chamber of Commerce pages for updates on a future follow-up event. 💜

Thank you for helping us continue the conversation and build a more informed, connected, and supportive community.
