Well... we had speed, just not the ending we were looking for.

Started 2nd in the heat race and drove it to the win, so things were looking pretty good early on. After redrawing 5th for the feature, we rolled out hoping to keep the momentum going. Unfortunately, the track and our setup weren't exactly on the same page, and we struggled with overall grip all feature long.

Instead of hanging on and risking turning race car parts into expensive yard art, we decided to pull in early and save our stuff for another day.

The good news? The speed is there. We'll head back to the shop, make some changes, argue with a few shocks and springs, and come back ready to get after it next week.

Pot of Gold Race Recap:
Qualified: 9th
Heat Race: Started 3rd —> Finished 2nd
Redraw: 4th
Feature: Started the feature strong, running in 3rd and 4th for most of the race. However, we fell back after contact put us in the wall and ultimately finished 9th after sustaining damage. We’ll get it all fixed up and give it another go!
