Another rear axle rebuild for Jesse Frazier . As he is working on the axle a local truck is also getting a new clutch outside. Why outside? Because it is too long for an inside job. Jesse really works the new Semi Truck pad at the shop.

New Orings and injectors on an older 444 diesel. This motor is very close to the old Ford 7.3 Diesel. Many parts interchange. Some say it is the middle motor between the older Navstar 6.9 in the 80s Fords and the newer 7,3 Power Stroke found between 1999 and 2003. Either way Jesse is the man to give new life to an old motor.

Another common motor is the 466. It too is rumored to share many parts to the 7.3 but it is a straight six diesel motor designed for a more rigorous commercial application. I have not found any parts that cross directly though. The DT466 is a sleeved motor designed more for long life. It was easy to get 600,000 miles from it.

Jesse does AC work. He is really good at keeping you cool in a well tuned car. This little dirt clog is the "Or***ce Filter" from a truck. It is definite that something broke and plugged it, but there are also grass particles in the filter. Maybe the system was left open too long and someone mowed next to the truck. Either way Jesse has several or***ce filters in stock.

Another job done. Who else wants an AC tune-up?

Today Jesse is changing out front drive axle joints on a Ford truck. All the rust colored powder is from inside the needle bearings cups. Not only was this seldom l**e, it dried out so bad even the rust was heavy powder.

It is very important to l**e when you change oil. These joints wore out because they went dry.

First on the rack for next week is this Dodge getting a Banks Monster Ram intake installed. This is the before photos. Notice the build up of leaves under the windshield. There will be so much power afterwards it will blow the leaves clean away.

As you can see in the last photo, it went so fast it cleaned the dust off the motor!!!
