Clean integration makes all the difference.

On this 2025 Porsche Macan, we installed a HELIX Conductor in place of the factory cigarette lighter located in the center console, hidden underneath the rubber mat just below the shifter.

It’s a perfect location because the controller stays discreet, looks factory, and is still easy for the driver to reach whenever they want to adjust volume, subwoofer level, presets, or other DSP functions.

Instead of adding something to the dash or console that looks out of place, we used an existing factory location and made the system feel like it belongs in the vehicle.

That’s the kind of detail we focus on with every high-end audio build.

It’s the little fabrication details that separate a good build from a truly professional one.

When we wrap custom enclosures and panels in carpet or vinyl, we use tuck grooves to give the material a clean, controlled place to terminate. Instead of exposed edges, bulky overlaps, or visible seams, the material is tucked neatly into the groove for a smooth, finished appearance.

It takes a little more planning during the fabrication process, but the end result is worth it—cleaner seams, tighter transitions, and a much more OEM-style finish.

Custom fabrication isn’t just about building something that fits. It’s about thinking through every detail before the wrapping even begins.

The 2025 Porsche Macan is going back together, and the cargo area is looking exactly how we wanted it — clean, factory, and completely functional.

With the cargo area fully reassembled, we can lift the floor and reveal the custom subwoofer enclosure sitting neatly in the OEM location. We still need to fabricate the final brackets to secure the enclosure, but the fit and placement are right where we planned them.

Open the driver-side cargo panel and all of the electronics are completely hidden from view. The Helix V12, Match UP 1FX, and ZEN-V fiber optic interface are all securely mounted, neatly wired, and tucked away behind the factory trim.

That’s a big part of how we approach high-end audio builds. The system should deliver serious performance while still looking like it belongs in the vehicle.

Once everything is secured, it’ll be time for final assembly, tuning, and one last retune after the vehicle is completely back together.

We upgraded this 2012 Chevy Equinox with a Sony XAV-AX3200 touchscreen radio and brought some much-needed modern technology into the dash.

Because of the factory setup in this Equinox, we used a relocation kit down below to properly retain and reposition the necessary factory controls while keeping the installation clean.

We also added a backup camera for improved visibility and retained the factory steering wheel controls, so the vehicle keeps the convenience features the customer is already used to.

The Sony XAV-AX3200 adds Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a much more modern interface to a vehicle that still has plenty of life left in it.

Another custom piece finished up on this Porsche Macan audio build.

We hand-built a custom birch enclosure for an Audiofrog 8-inch subwoofer — no CNC on this one. Everything was measured, cut, fitted, and assembled by hand to make the enclosure work perfectly in the factory OEM location.

The enclosure sits vertically beneath the cargo floor and is positioned as far rearward as possible, allowing us to maximize the available space while keeping the installation clean and completely integrated into the vehicle.

With the subwoofer stage finished, we’re ready for the final tuning, complete reassembly of the Macan, and then one last retune once everything is back together.

On this 2025 Porsche Macan, we’re installing the Morel Elate Carbon Pro 93A tweeters into the factory dash locations.

These tweeters are much larger than what the factory opening was originally designed for, so this is where proper fabrication comes into play. Porsche gives us a breakaway section inside the tweeter cavity, which we carefully remove. From there, we use a right-angle Dremel to trim just enough material to get the Morel tweeter sitting as low and flush as possible.

Once everything is positioned correctly, the tweeter is securely mounted and the factory dash grille goes right back over it for a clean, OEM-style finish.

The goal is always the same — premium performance without sacrificing the factory appearance.

🔊 Morel Center Channel Upgrade | 2024–2025 Porsche Macan

Another piece of this Porsche audio build is coming together.

For the center channel, we upgraded the factory speaker with a Morel center channel and fabricated a custom acrylic mounting adapter so everything would fit properly in the OEM location.

We also foam-backed the adapter to help seal the speaker, reduce vibration, and keep the installation nice and solid.

The finished result fits just like the factory setup while giving us the upgraded performance we’re looking for.

No shortcuts. No hacked-up mounting. Just clean fabrication and an OEM-style fit.

We’re officially in the home stretch on this Porsche Macan audio build. 🔥

We just finished mounting and wiring the HELIX V TWELVE on our custom ABS amp rack in the driver-side cargo area, taking the place of the factory Bose amplifier.

Behind that, we had already mounted the MATCH UP 1FX, and up top we fabricated another ABS bracket to securely mount the ZEN-V module for our fiber-optic interface.

Everything is tucked away cleanly, mounted securely, and laid out so the system stays serviceable while still looking like it belongs there.

At this point, all that’s left is installing the center channel, installing the tweeters, building the custom enclosure for the Audiofrog subwoofer, and then giving the entire system a proper DSP tune.

A lot of fabrication, planning, wiring, and detail has gone into this build, and we’re almost ready to hear the final result.

Another piece of this Porsche Macan audio build coming together.

We installed our Match UP 1FX in the driver-side cargo area, positioned behind the factory Bose amplifier location. To keep everything secure and organized, we fabricated a custom PVC mounting panel specifically for the UP 1FX.

From there, we built a second mount out of ABS that sits in front of the Match amplifier and gives us a solid mounting location for the Helix V TWELVE DSP.

This lets us fit both amplifiers into a compact factory area while keeping the installation clean, serviceable, and out of the way of the usable cargo space.

Custom fabrication is a huge part of doing these systems correctly. Every bracket and mounting panel is built around the vehicle instead of forcing the equipment to fit.
