🔧 2004 Mercedes-Benz G500 – Headliner Restoration! 🔧

This G-Wagon is in absolutely beautiful condition, but after 22 years, the factory headliner finally started sagging.

At Speed of Sound Technologies, we don’t believe in shortcuts, especially when working on a vehicle this nice!

We carefully removed the entire headliner and stripped away the old material. Now comes one of the most important parts of the job: PREPARATION!

We’re removing all the old adhesive, giving the headliner board an acetone cleaning, and allowing everything to properly off-gas overnight.

Tomorrow, we’ll wrap it in fresh headliner material and give the new adhesive plenty of time to cure and off-gas. Once we’re back from vacation, we’ll carefully reinstall everything.

Why all the extra steps? Because the quality of the finished product depends on the work you put into the preparation!

This beautiful G500 deserves nothing less than a clean, factory-quality finish.

Some shops focus on how quickly they can get a job done. We focus on how well it’s done and how long it lasts. 💪

🔊🔥 CUSTOM CADILLAC CTS-V SUBWOOFER ENCLOSURE BUILD! 🔥🔊

Another custom fabrication project coming together here at Speed of Sound Technologies!

We’re working on a custom-built enclosure for a Cadillac CTS-V, designed to house dual Audison Prima 10-inch subwoofers!

This enclosure features an angled back for a clean, precise fit. We’re wrapping the main body in black carpet, but the real attention-grabber is the custom front face!

🚙💡 2011 Jeep Wrangler – Custom Front Lighting Installation!

Another Jeep Wrangler in the shop for some additional front lighting!

Now, normally at Speed of Sound Technologies, we DO NOT install customer-supplied equipment. However, we made an exception for this client, who plans to purchase additional equipment from us down the road.

Even though we didn’t supply the lights, that doesn’t change our installation standards!

🔧 Here’s what we did:

✅ Installed Deutsch connectors on all three lights for easy servicing or replacement.

✅ Added proper circuit protection with fuses and relays.

✅ Installed independent switches for all three lighting functions.

✅ Made sure everything was wired properly for reliability, serviceability, and longevity.

Could this installation have been done quicker and cheaper? ABSOLUTELY!

But that’s not how we do business.

We don’t cut corners to save a few dollars or rush through an installation just to get the vehicle out the door.

If your number one concern is PRICE, we’re probably not the shop for you.

But if you care about QUALITY, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, SERVICEABILITY, and LONGEVITY, then we’re exactly who you’re looking for.

🔊🔥 THIS 2026 HARLEY-DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE TRIKE IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE! 🏍️🔥

We’re putting the finishing touches on this incredible audio build here at Speed of Sound Technologies, and we’re currently in the testing and listening phase!

Let me tell you something… we’re standing about 20 FEET AWAY from this trike, and I literally have to SCREAM just to hear myself talk! 🤯🔊

The sheer output coming from this system is absolutely unbelievable! But it’s not just about being LOUD. It’s about delivering incredible clarity, detail, and performance, even at extreme volume levels.

We’re fine-tuning everything to make sure this system performs exactly the way it should.

This is what happens when you combine premium equipment, proper installation techniques, and years of experience in high-performance audio.

🚙 2016 Jeep Wrangler Gets a Modern Technology Upgrade! 🔥

Another clean installation here at Speed of Sound Technologies!

We upgraded this 2016 Jeep Wrangler with a Sony XAV-AX4000, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and modern touchscreen technology to the factory dashboard.

We also installed a Rydeen rear backup camera using an OEM-style mounting bracket that positions the camera perfectly through the center of the rear spare tire. The result? A clean, factory-style appearance without an awkward camera hanging off the back of the Jeep!

Another common Jeep radio failure taken care of.

This 2021 Jeep Compass came in with a failing factory screen. These systems are known for issues where the screen can go completely black, start ghost touching, freeze up, or simply stop working altogether.

Rather than replacing it with another factory unit, we upgraded the Compass with a Sony XAV-AX4000 and used iDatalink Maestro wiring for proper vehicle integration.

The result is a clean, reliable upgrade with a modern touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a factory-style installation.

If your Jeep screen is starting to act up, there may be a better option than putting another factory radio back in.

We’re feeling extremely blessed to have a full shop and a whole lot of work going on today! 🙏

We have a Hyundai Kona in for the front two windows with Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle 25% to match the factory rear glass.

We also have a brand-new 2027 Harley-Davidson Trike in the shop getting a full audio upgrade. 🔊🏍️

And rounding out the day is a Chevy Express getting upgraded speakers, an amplifier, and a driving camera system.

Three completely different projects, one busy shop, and we’re grateful for every customer who trusts us with their vehicle.

Another clean upgrade completed at Speed of Sound Technologies.

This 2026 HD Duramax came in for a set of AMP Research Power Steps, giving the truck a much easier entry and exit without taking away from its clean factory appearance.

The steps automatically deploy when the doors open and tuck back up underneath the truck when the doors close, helping maintain ground clearance while keeping everything looking sleek.

A perfect upgrade for a full-size HD truck.
