Spent a good portion of the day diagnosing a possible short to ground for a passenger front window switch. Turns out the master switch was the culprit, but, it's always safe to check your wiring for continuity and also remember to measure your ohm reading (lowest setting@200 ohms) for low voltage. Suggested to definitively disconnect negative battery terminal to achieve the most accurate test and find a good chassis ground.

2005 dodge dakota 4.7l 4x4 valve cover job (fail). Had to abort job due to eroding valve studs that hindered the job.
