Everyone knows we are an open book when it comes to how our track operates with full transparency, as it should be so our riders and families understand not only our struggles but also our wins and the direction of our track is going and how it is performing. At tonight’s board meeting we were excited to share some of those wins we have been quietly working on behind the scenes over the last several months if not year. Below is a list of wins for those who couldn’t attend, but also for those who think it’s impossible to obtain.
We have been working closely with our city and our parks department and we are excited to share the following wins with you and give all of our families, riders something to look forward to going into 2027!
•Timing - We will be getting timing and plan to have it in place and functional to kick off the 2027 season!
• A new snack shack / registration building with indoor restrooms heated and cooled
• A finish line truss for better camera and live feed angles and additional sponsorship advertising space which we have already purchased but won’t install until after this season to prevent any potential hazards during construction to prep install.
•Moving fence line back to provide additional spectator space within the track, but also gives us additional room to build a straight rhythm track and safe space for striders to practice and race on.
All this wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our track sponsors, the support from the city, the parks department, and most of all YOU the families who come out to our big races but also all our local racers!! Thank you for the last couple years of continued growth and support from near and far!
