🍂 Your Car Knows It’s Fall, Too 🍂

Cooler Michigan mornings can have a way of revealing little problems your car was perfectly happy to hide all summer.

A slow start. A tire-pressure light. A strange squeak that definitely wasn’t there yesterday.

If your vehicle is acting a little different lately, don’t ignore it. A quick check now could save you from a much bigger headache when the really cold weather arrives.

Bushey Automotive is here to help keep you safely on the road this fall.

FUN DAY FRIDAY QUESTION:
What Season Is It in Your Car?

Michigan in October means your vehicle needs to be prepared for approximately four seasons before lunch.

Sunglasses? Check.
Hoodie? Check.
Ice scraper? Somehow already back in the car.
Emergency shorts because it might randomly hit 70° again? Obviously.

At this point, the trunk isn’t storage…It’s a Michigan weather survival kit. 😂

Happy Friday from Bushey Automotive!

Don’t Let a Weak Battery Leave You Out in the Cold 🔋🥶

Michigan’s colder weather can be tough on a battery — especially one that’s already starting to lose its strength.

Slow cranking, dim lights, electrical issues or needing a jump are all signs your battery or charging system may need attention.

Bushey Automotive can test your battery and charging system to make sure your vehicle has the power it needs before those cold Michigan mornings arrive.

A quick check now beats hearing click, click, click when you’re already running late.

Your Brakes Should Stop Your Car — Not Your Heart 🛑

Squeaking, grinding, a soft brake pedal or shaking when you stop are all signs your braking system may need attention.

Brake pads and rotors wear down over time, and catching that wear early can help prevent more expensive repairs later.

If something doesn’t feel or sound right when you hit the brakes, let Bushey Automotive check it out. When it comes to stopping safely, it’s one service you don’t want to put off.

🐶 Just Like Man’s Best Friend…Your Car Has Its Own Way of Asking for Attention!

A new noise. A vibration that wasn’t there yesterday. A warning light that suddenly decides to join you for the ride.

Cars usually give us little clues when something isn’t quite right. Paying attention to those changes early can sometimes keep a small issue from becoming a much bigger headache.

If your car suddenly feels, sounds, or even smells different—don’t ignore its hints. 🚗

Cool mornings, warmer afternoons, falling leaves…and the occasional reminder that winter isn’t all that far away. 🍂

This is a great time of year to pay a little extra attention to your tires, wipers, lights, and battery.

Michigan weather has a way of changing quickly, and your vehicle appreciates being ready for whatever comes next.

Enjoy those beautiful fall drives while they last! 🍁

Fun Day Friday: Driver’s Ed Flashback

Forget backup cameras, parking sensors, and cars that practically park themselves.

Some of us, or people we know, had to parallel park a vehicle roughly the size of a small yacht…while an instructor sat next to us silently judging every move.

If you learned to drive in one of these land yachts, you’ve earned your weekend. Happy Friday! 🚙

⚠️ That Little Light Is Trying to Tell You Something

It’s easy to see a dashboard light pop on and think, “I’ll deal with that later.” But those little lights can be your vehicle’s way of giving you an early heads-up before a small issue becomes a bigger one.

Some warnings need attention sooner than others, so if a new light suddenly appears on your dash, it’s worth finding out what’s behind it.

Your car may not be able to talk—but sometimes it communicates pretty clearly. 🚗
