Dear PHAmily, one of us is in need of assistance and as you know, when one is in need, "ALL of us are". Sister Juanita Coleman Effinger (PHA Abigail #46, District 19) and her family suffered great lost when their apartment complex caught fire. Their apartment has been deemed unlivable.

They lost all of their belongings. There will be a fund raising campaign on this Sunday, January 21, 2018 at McDonald's (3520 Ave E, Bham 35218) from 2-4 pm. You may also use PayPal address [email protected]. Send as a gift so no fees will apply. This PayPal will only be available from Jan 19-25.

If You have any furniture in good condition you would like to donate, please let us know. They have 2 girls. Age 3 and she wears size 4-5T and size 11 toddler shoes. The 17 year old wears size S-M shirt, size 7-8 pants junior/misses, and size 4 1/5 ladies shoes.

She and her family are very appreciative of your generosity as they recovers from this devastation.

Working at The BJCC Warming Center for the homeless. We were interviewed by WBRC FOX6 News. I never got to see the video, but would love to. It was definitely a humbering experience for Me! We made sack lunches and the people of Birmingham and surrounding cities really took care of their people with just about any food you would have desired! Kudos to Birmingham AL and the BJCC. I wouldn't dare leave out CANNONS BEAUTY #589, Order of Eastern Star, District 19! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this community service a success!
