The new Law has changed from 70% light passing through to 50% light passing through. While it sounds much better, for those of you who like to match the factory tint of the vehicle it’s still way lighter then what you would like. For reference 70% is at the top, 50% is right below. (20%-30% is factory). Keep in mind, meters also pick up the actual glass, so while the film is 50% the meter will pick up the glass and can meter as darker (~45%) which is technically illegal. All meters are different, so from us to the DMV to the person who pulls you over, it can meter differently all 3 times.

It’s official!!

SB 255, which modernizes our state's window tint law by allowing drivers to use darker window tint on their front side windows without needing a medical waiver, has been signed into law.

The law allows front side windows to have tint that lets at least 50% of visible light through, compared to the previous 70% requirement. This gives Delaware drivers more flexibility while maintaining a reasonable safety standard.

It’s been brought to our attention that some of you don’t care about others time. While you may be selfish enough to enjoy your extra sleep, we find it extremely rude to be here early for YOU. All for you to not show up even after confirming your appointment, it’s not about the money, it’s about the time. It’s about giving the appointment to someone who truly will SHOW UP & respect our time. Folks, if you want to cancel then cancel, but it’s 2026, no showing appointments is a bit ridiculous. There are ways to get into contact with us after hours. This is also why we charge a $49.99 fee for residential / commercial estimates. The amount of times we’ve driven out to people for them to not be home is actually incredible.
