Since Covid a lot of of things in the collision repair industry have changed. Getting parts in a timely manner can be very challenging. One of the major issues we find customers facing is not having enough rental coverage on their policy to cover a rental the entire time their vehicle is at the shop and insurance companies will not pay more than the policy limits. We encourage you to first drive your vehicle until all parts have arrived at the shop if safe to do so. Secondly, everyone should reach out to their agent to make sure you have the coverage you need in case of an accident. Most of the time increasing your rental coverage and decreasing your deductible doesn’t add much to your monthly bill. It is a lot easier to pay an extra $20 a month than to owe $1000 if you have an accident or to have to worry about finding transportation while your car is being repaired. Many people do not understand that a deductible is the amount you pay to the shop for repairs before insurance will pay out. Another thing to check into when using a rental is Some companies will allow you to get into a rental that cost a lesser amount than what your daily limit is to extend the rental coverage a little longer. This may be a good thing to check in to prior to setting up your rental reservation. We like everyone else are learning to adapt to the new post Covid norm. We never wish for anyone to have an accident, but we do hope these tips can help you be a little more prepared if you do.

As the United auto workers strike continues we would like to thank all of our valued customers for your patience and understanding. The factory parts delays are creating major delays in our repairs. We hope an agreement will be reached sooner rather than later and things can get back moving forward.
