Another one in the books for Sacandaga Towing & Recovery 🏁🏁🏁

Yesterday afternoon we got a call from Gavin and his team asking if we could make it happen—transporting his new SuperBoat Y2K from Lake George to the Eastern New Hampshire/Massachusetts border.

Less than 24 hours later, that boat was sitting in his driveway by 10 AM… over 4 hours away.

This is exactly what we do. High-end performance boats aren’t just another job for us—they’re our specialty. And this one hit a little different, because I personally own the exact same boat, but not nearly as cool . Knowing these boats inside and out matters when it comes to safe, professional transport.

We take serious pride in every haul, especially when it comes to equipment like this.

Today we completed another challenging haul for a contractor, transporting an enclosed trailer loaded with spray foam equipment weighing approximately 18,000 pounds up to a new construction site in Chestertown.

This marks the second time we’ve been called to this site — located a significant distance from our home base — trusted to get the job done when others couldn’t.

The final stretch was no easy task — a nearly 2-mile driveway with a steep, demanding incline that stopped others in their tracks. Situations like this require more than just a truck — they demand experience, proper equipment, and the know-how to get the job done safely and efficiently.

There are towing companies… and then there’s us. We take pride in handling the jobs others can’t.

Maintenance day on the work boat, it’s gotten one hell of a workout these last few weeks

Today kept our crew busy with two successful boat recoveries—one on Great Sacandaga Lake and one on Saratoga Lake.

The boat on Great Sacandaga Lake was completely capsized, while the boat on Saratoga Lake was partially submerged at the dock. With the right equipment, the right experience, and most importantly the right crew, we safely and efficiently brought both boats back to the surface.

With the heavy rainfall we’ve experienced over the last 24 hours, water levels and conditions can change quickly, leading to unexpected situations. If your boat has taken on water, sunk, or needs to be recovered, we’re ready to help.

🏁Not a bad day in the 6 wheeled office 🔥🏁

We had the privilege of hauling a stunning 38’ Statement center console rigged with triple Mercury Racing 450R engines — an absolute beast and a very high-end setup.

Friday night around 10:30 PM, we received a call from the Fulton County Sheriff’s about a disabled boat on the Great Sacandaga Lake, approximately 2 miles southwest of Sand Island.

Within 25 minutes, we were able to locate them in the pitch black and get them safely underway. Knowing the lake extremely well makes all the difference, especially at night when there are so many hidden hazards out there.

The couple was extremely grateful to be brought back safely and not left drifting in the dark waiting for help.
