One of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to mold in a vehicle is that you can simply spray the affected carpet, clean the surface, and call it a day.

That is NOT mold remediation.

When mold is present, contamination can extend beyond what is immediately visible. Spores can become airborne and transfer to other areas and materials throughout the vehicle, making proper remediation much more involved than a standard interior detail.

Mold remediation requires a thorough, methodical process that varies depending on the severity and extent of the contamination.

This customer initially believed the mold was limited to the surface of the carpet and that it would be a quick cleaning. Before accepting the job, we made sure he understood exactly how involved the process could be and what would be required to properly address the contamination.

Now that the job is complete, the vehicle has been thoroughly treated, and the musty odor and visible mold are gone.

At Trevor’s Car Care, we believe in being honest and transparent with our customers. We don’t simply tell you what you want to hear—we explain the process, the severity of the situation, and what it takes to properly address it.
