Congratulations to Tom and Karen, welcome to the Newell family! They're stepping into Coach #1864, our Summer Show Coach, after years behind the wheel of other Class A coaches, and they're not easing in slow: a trip to Alaska is already on the books for next year. As one of our show coaches, this build gave our design, engineering and sales teams free rein to chase the latest trends and pack in the tech and features our customers ask for most. Inside, playful geometry and rich natural wood tones set a warm, contemporary tone, with creamy white flooring and soft gray marble-like veining flowing throughout. Rich, taupe-toned Italian leather covers the driver and passenger seats, each embossed with the Newell logo, while cool grey leather recliners add contrast.
The galley features a porcelain countertop inspired by rusted, worn metal, with a striking double-shine finish for an authentic aged-metal look, paired with an underlit wood block ceiling and gold inlay overhead. A mid-coach buffet houses a built-in coffee maker and a refrigerator/freezer, and a TV sits on a retractable arm above the entry. Coach #1864 is also the first of our show coaches to feature the new Compass coach management system.
The mid-bath makes a statement with a solid surface wall finish, its subtle porous texture echoing raw concrete, custom-etched in a flowing arch pattern with reveal lighting. Bold green and white geometric marble mosaic tile completes the look. The bedroom's handwoven raffia accent wall glows with integrated LED lighting for a cozy touch, and the rear master bath rounds things out with an underlit white quartz vanity, river rock backsplash, and a glossy marble-look walk-in shower.
For the exterior, our graphic designer struck a bold balance of black, white, silver and charcoal, classy and racy all at once. Sweeping, angular graphics slice across the deep gloss black base in crisp white and silver, punctuated by a signature swirl near the front quarter panel that adds a burst of energy to the design.
Thank you, Tom and Karen. We are so glad you are part of the Newell family! Here's to Alaska and everywhere after. Safe travels!
