What happens when you bring New Orleans to a Newell design table? Just ask Bart and Coral. Their 2022 Tampa Show Coach gave them a taste of Newell life, and our newest show coach got them thinking about what else was possible. This time, they built one from scratch, their way.

Meet Coach #1872. The NOLA influence starts at your feet, with heated European White Oak flooring running the length of the coach and custom-designed damask rugs in the salon and bedroom, the kind you'll want to kick your shoes off for. Their deep green turns up again in accent upholstery and in the galley's mosaic backsplash, a rich mix of greens, blues and gold. Then come the personal touches: original artwork from an artist Bart and Coral picked themselves, polished Luxe Gold hardware in every room, and a few mischievous monkeys hiding in the decor for good measure.

At the entry steps, a bronzed mirror accent sets the backdrop for the Chapman & Myers Gramercy sconce. Gilded and delicate, with hand-sculpted wheat leaves and an antiqued mirror sphere, it would look just as at home on a French Quarter balcony. Directly below sits the bar-top dinette, paired with folding solid wood chairs that have cane backs and upholstered seats, giving it an easy café feel. When the chairs fold away there's room for the dog's kennel under the dinette, because every member of the family needs a spot.

Then there's the half bath, easily one of our favorite rooms in this coach. Palm tree wallpaper wraps the walls around a polished gold oval mirror, bringing a bit of Southern charm to the smallest room in the coach.

In the back, the master bath was enlarged to fit how Bart and Coral actually live. A custom washer and dryer setup includes a pull-out ironing board, and a double vanity with wall-mounted polished gold faucets gives each of them a sink of their own. Both bathrooms have premium heated porcelain tile floors to take the chill off early mornings.

When it came to paint, Bart and Coral didn't want to start over. They loved the scheme and colors on their 2022 Tampa Show Coach, so our designer kept both and gave the design a refreshed look for this new chapter. Beneath the paint, the 605 HP Cummins X15 features our chrome performance package, with a fully chromed engine and components and a custom Newell logo stamped into the air intake. Flip on the lights and the engine bay glows like Bourbon Street after dark.

Coach #1872 came together one conversation, one sample and one decision at a time, and it's been a pleasure building it alongside Bart and Coral. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Ever wondered why RVs are covered in all those swoops and swirls? A feature dug into the history and artistry behind RV exterior graphics, and it spends real time with our own Ryan Loucks, the designer behind Newell's custom paint schemes.

The piece traces how these designs evolved from hand-taped straight lines in the 60s and 70s to today's multi-layered, hand-painted work, and it makes one thing clear: there's a massive gap between a factory vinyl wrap and a true custom paint job. Most RVs today get automotive-grade vinyl graphics that look flat and two-dimensional. At Newell Coach, we still hand-tape every pinstripe, then build up ghosting, translucent pearl topcoats, and drop shadows painted freehand to follow every curve perfectly, real craftsmanship that can take our paint team nearly 200 hours on a single coach.

None of that happens without our paint team's skill and patience. These are artists in every sense, and every coach that rolls out of Newell carries their work. Give the video a watch and see the process for yourself.

Congratulations to Jill and Adam on the delivery of their beautiful, Newell Coach #1869!

There's a rustic, warm character to this build, one designed entirely around a life spent outdoors, on horseback, and around cattle. The mid-entry floorplan opens into a custom shoe storage cabinet with a Samsung Frame TV on a powered hinge, setting the tone for a coach that's as functional as it is good-looking.

Heated wood flooring runs throughout the coach, with the rear bath standing apart in porcelain tile with a river rock border framing the vanity, a detail echoed as the backsplash in the master bath. The galley features a waterfall edge with a porcelain top, while the buffet keeps a cleaner line and adds a Zephyr beverage cooler tucked into its lower section. The dinette top is finished in premium petrified wood, a warm, one-of-a-kind material that anchors the whole salon.

The salon itself leans hard into western luxe: a custom hair-on-hide rug grounds the space, paired with an accent wallpaper carrying that same hair-on-hide texture up the walls. Nailhead trim on the sofa adds a saddle-leather touch, and extra storage tucked behind the recliners keeps the space practical without sacrificing any of its character. Up front, two-toned premium leather driver and co-pilot seats carry that same rustic-meets-refined feel into the cockpit.

Back in the bedroom, premium quartz continues at the countertops, and the half bath gets its own standout moment with white underlit quartz.

Outside, Jill and Adam wanted something edgy and fast, an aggressive red and black look with plenty of movement, and that's exactly what came together: a modern, racy exterior scheme built for a couple who loves the energy of NASCAR as much as they love the quiet of a good cattle pasture. A lithium battery package keeps the coach ready to go off-grid whenever the outdoors calls, and the exterior bay grill and kitchen cabinet rounds out the coach for entertaining well beyond the driveway, with a Kenyon Texan grill featuring a fold-up side and storage, a custom cooler close at hand, and a Denon speaker built into the face of the grill.

Show coaches are where everything comes together (design, engineering, and innovation all in one place) and there's no better way to understand that than stepping inside one.
