NEWS | Could 5G Be Coming to the 2027 Chevy Trax?

The refreshed 2027 Chevy Trax has been spotted with a subtle but potentially significant change: a new shark-fin roof antenna replacing the current whip-style design.

According to GM Authority, the updated antenna could signal the addition of 5G connectivity, potentially bringing faster data speeds to connected services and other cellular-dependent features. The change has not yet been officially confirmed by Chevrolet.

The refresh is also expected to bring revised front and rear styling, along with new interior updates—including a possible red interior option for the RS.
