One of Porsche’s most uncompromising road cars, finished in one of its most understated colors.

Finished in Meteor Gray Metallic over Black Full Leather, this 11,168-mile example is one of 237 U.S.-market 997.1 GT2s, one of only eight finished in Meteor Gray Metallic, and one of five delivered in 2008 with this interior.

The details matter here: factory wheels painted in deviating exterior color, carbon fiber sport buckets, silver seat belts, leather interior trim options, PCCB, GMG exhaust, a factory GT2 RS front splitter, full PPF coverage, and recent major service including Cup 2 tires, spark plugs, ignition coils, filters, brake fluid, and oil.

Before the CTR and the Yellowbird made RUF known around the world, there was the BTR.

This 1986 RUF BTR, chassis W09TA0348GPR06024, was commissioned for Marilyn Beddor of the Minnesota-based Beddor family, whose relationship with RUF would become closely tied to the marque’s early American history. Marilyn and her sons would go on to campaign a number of RUF-built cars in hill climbs, high-speed events and other competition.
06024 is a genuine RUF-manufactured W09 car rather than simply a Porsche converted with RUF components. Original factory documentation specifically records the car as “Manufactured for Marilyn Beddor” and identifies RUF Automobile GmbH as the manufacturer. Finished in Grand Prix White over a black and white interior, its 3.4-liter single-turbo flat-six is rated at 374 hp and 480 Nm of torque.

The car was later fitted by RUF with the rare R50.50 six-speed transmission and is equipped with RUF Bilstein suspension, 17-inch RUF wheels, a rear roll cage, RUF brakes, sports seats, steering wheel and gauges.

The BTR itself occupies an important place in RUF history. Introduced before the CTR, it established the formula that would define the company’s early road cars: substantial power, high-speed capability and extensive engineering carried out in Pfaffenhausen rather than a simple collection of aftermarket modifications.

Decades after it was built, 06024 returned to RUF Automobile in Pfaffenhausen for an extensive restoration to its original specification. Completed in 2019/2020, the work is documented by RUF invoices totaling €135,533.26, a substantial factory restoration for an already significant early RUF.

A genuine W09 BTR with documented Beddor provenance, its original RUF paperwork and more than €135,000 in restoration work carried out by the same company that built it nearly four decades ago.

Incoming: 2018 991.2 GT3, finished in White over Black/Red and showing 18,316 miles. A six-speed manual example with Full Bucket Seats, Front Axle Lift, Chrono Package, carbon and alcantara interior trim, LED headlights in black, and Satin Black wheels.

Slate Gray, gray leather, no sunroof, and a history that’s a little more interesting than most.

Built in 06/1989, this 964 Carrera 4 carries the Z-Antrag 01991 option code, identifying it as a “Presse-Testwagen,” or press test vehicle. The same entry specifically references the engine and transmission as part of the requested scope, while the original service book shows delivery through Porsche Zentrum Limburg in 01/1990.

From there, the car spent its life across Germany, Italy, and France, with a paper trail and substantial recent mechanical work, including a €13,465 service in 11/2024 covering engine oil leaks, ignition components, suspension, brakes, front differential service, and alignment.

A sunroof-delete early C4 in one of the best colors for a 964, with approximately 109k miles, documented history, and a unique backstory.

The 997 Turbo has aged especially well because it still feels closely tied to the traditional 911 formula. Relatively compact proportions, hydraulic steering, a 6-speed manual, and the 3.6-liter twin-turbo Mezger engine give it a very different feel from the larger, more tech-heavy Turbos that followed. The body was made to be wide without being excessive, and the design is cohesive from every angle.

This 2007 example is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Stone Grey Full Leather, shows 17,508 miles, and is protected by full-body PPF. PASM, a smooth leather Sport Steering Wheel, Alcantara rooflining, Bose sound system, navigation system, Park Assist, and a sunroof round out the spec.

Roof open, a little less urgency, and a 911 that works just as well for an early morning run as it does for dinner later that night.

This 2014 Targa 4S is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Black leather and currently shows 47,487 miles. The spec keeps its stealthy. This Targa was optioned with PDK, Sport Chrono, 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels, ventilated 14-way Sport Seats, Bose sound system, and Guards Red accents inside.

Another reason to appreciate the 993. This Japanese-market Carrera 2 combines Iris Blue Metallic with the less commonly seen sunroof-delete configuration, a six-speed manual, and a few well-chosen upgrades. Gloss silver Kinesis Supercups and a 993 RS Touring front splitter complete the look.

We’ve also recently put work into this car at our workshop. Highlights include suspension work, a full alignment and a brake and clutch fluid service. The exterior has also received new surrounding seals, and refreshed exterior lighting.

For owners looking to get more out of their Porsche, the right combo of upgrades can make a difference without compromising everyday usability.

On this 992 Turbo S Cabriolet, we fitted a SOUL PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS Street Performance Exhaust with high-flow sport catalytic converters and a full 3-inch, valveless X-pipe, reducing exhaust restriction and backpressure while improving flow and turbo response. We then paired it with an M-Engineering tune, with their Stage 1 calibration capable of adding approximately 114 whp and 145 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane.
More response, considerably more power, and a much more engaging exhaust note without fundamentally changing what makes the Turbo S such a usable car.
